is it okay to be inspired by other pixel art and make your own pixel art using the "same idea" but I'll be changing the color, shading, the structure, basically make it my way. I know this is a stupid question but I just wanna make sure.

you are allow to take inspiration from art, but not directly steal it, so yeah you are allowed to do that
