Beautiful animations - Chefs Kiss! I can see the amount of work that has gone into the game and I think it might just have been a really ambitious undertaking which didnt allow you the time to focus on the core game loop - We did the same 🥲
Very true ';) . We were hoping to have an incremental level system that increased the difficulty after each 'hunt', but time led us to having to set the difficulty difference within each farm zone.
Cute art style of the fox and dog, they really stood out from the background and made them look like stickers! The sounds of the forest were also a great touch. The movement was a bit sluggish though and we'd get stuck on a few rocks and the camera would shake.
