Sourcing images for collage artwork

Just wanted some clarification for the purposes of adding artwork to these projects

It's clear that direct digital illustration and image manipulation falls outside the rules of the jam

However if an image is sourced online, for the purposes of printing and collaging, does that fit the rules.

Or would I need to stick to found physical artwork and or original hand illustrations only.

I wanted to clarify before I begin, so that I don't invest time into one method when an alternative is available

No, that is perfectly fine!

For example in this video, Nate Treme uses scanned & printed public domain images to create a cool zine: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JTV5SK4xib8

That’s a perfect fit for the jam.

Awesome to know!

Thanks for the response and the cool source material.

I had considered doing something similar but wanted to know if it was rules appropriate first

It is greatly appreciated
