Brilliant premise for the game! Kinda reminds me a bit of an .io type game. You could definitely go somewhere with this idea.

cute ants, same as others, difficult buyg things, I have the same for my game. By the way, a tip for the graphic art. try to keep consistency in the pixel size. if you choose one pixel size, stuck with it. And same for the font/typography you are using. Try to find a blocky font if you go for pixel art style. Consistency is key ! ;)

Thanks for playing and thanks for the tip! This was my first time doing pixel art; my teammate has done a bit before on some of our other projects. I'll definitely keep that in mind next time I do pixel art.

I did find the idea of controlling the swarm very interesting!

The game is too easy and there isn't much going on. The bugs are getting stuck on edge of the world. Its fun at beginning but then after you surround yourself with ants there isn't much of a threat.

Yeah we realized after the deadline that there is a bug that causes enemies to stop spawning after a little while. Without the constant spawning of enemies its far too easy to just clear them out.
