Good game...enjoyed playing! The controls need to be a bit more responsive...jump seemed delayed, waiting for me to release the space bar. And the left/right were hard to make smaller adjustments. Never used the "sideways", but key placement made it difficult to hit it.

Developer

thank you! i'm glad you liked it! The jump is intentionally delayed. You can actually charge it up, I wish I had made that clear. And yeah I kind of wish I had reworked control layout a bit. I tend to hold my left hand a bit sideways w my 3rd and 4th fingers on shift and ctrl respectively

ah, charged jump makes sense! I'll have to try it again...and using the left hand on shift/ctrl is much more comfortable, as I was trying to use my right hand while moving left/right also!!

Developer

oh my! yeah that does seem very difficult lol. I’d be interested to know what you think if you do try again

I like the perspective of the game, but it can make it difficult to time your moves with the positions of the lasers.

Developer

thanks! and thanks for playing! yeah I tried a couple of things to try to help fix that, but ultimately I think I just ended up getting used to it lol

Nice concept but controls could have been better. :D

Developer

thanks! Any chance you could elaborate? Was it the choice of button mapping, responsiveness, or something else that you thought could use improvement.

HELLO!! I can say something but I'm not an expert though. Maybe the movement could be done with the WASD Keys. The Crouch could be the DOWN arrow. The jump could be the UP arrow. And turning sideways can done in both directions using the LEFT and RIGHT arrow keys. This is just an advice. Again I'm not an expert. :D

Developer

oooh thank you! this is a good idea! WASD is actually already keyed to movement as well lol
