Fuunky, the concept is great, and playing defensive instead of offensive is a mice twist in this jam, though i will add that the controls are very confusing and easy to forget mid-game or whenever you come back to the game, but you've been told already before so I won't bother you with the details
Yes the game does play somewhat weirdly I would say haha.
Thank you for playing !
Thea art and animations were awesome, but I found the game to be a bit too hard. Trying not to let your main character die is difficult, and it becomes even more difficult trying to control the other clones. Despite everything I had a lot of fun and it would be really cool to see more, because the primary concept is really really interesting!
Yeah as always in game jams I have trouble balancing/playtesting my game unfortunately. And the level generation is a little unforgiving at times. But I liked the idea and kind of leaned into it haha.
Thanks for your feedback !
I like the idea a lot, but i feel it's a little hard but because of the controls. Great work
Thank you !
Nice little platformer, took me a while to figure out what the controls were on a keyboard but it worked pretty well once I got the gist :) I think the jump feels a little bit too floaty for my liking, but otherwise it's a polished little game with a really neat, unique implementation of the theme - great job!
Yeah sorry for the keyboard, I did my best to include it for those who didn't have a controller.
I've been playing around with some platformer controllers trying to find a good jump, hard to find the sweet spot haha.
Thanks for playing !
Really liked the squash and stretch on jump animations and implementation of throwing your clone. It adds an extra element to avoiding hazards that a pro might be able to go ham with. I am not a pro.
Haha yeah I can see a pro playing this game, controlling multiple clones, stringing trickshots together :D. Practice makes perfect
I try to add in little effects to make the game feel better wherever I can, glad you liked it !
Thanks for playing :)
Cool game like the art! Sometimes when taking damage tho I lose more than 1 clones wondering if maybe you are using collisionstay instead of collisionenter?
Thanks ! I like how it turned out also :)
Enemies and spikes make you lose two clones, it's basically an incentive to throw your clones at the enemies (losing only 1 clone and gaining 50 points), rather than tanking them and losing clones more quickly. It is a little counter-intuitive I suppose, oops.
Thanks again for playing !
The Game looks amazing!!!
