This is cool! I got 1,502,850. The graphics and sound are great. However, since the teleport does the same amount of damage as the regular attack, I didn't see much of a reason to walk or attack instead of just teleporting into all the enemies and bullets. I'd recommend placing a cooldown timer on the teleport, and maybe reduce the amount of damage that walking or teleporting into an enemy does.

Oh, this is great feedback!  I'm still working on it so I'll definitely work on retooling it with that in mind.

Wow, that was very cool! I really liked how your character had an interesting moveset to master. The big problem is that there is only one enemy type and that really makes the game drag after a while. The problem with this jam is that having a highscore feature normally means developers only make arcade games. Unfortunately arcade games survive on variety and when the game doesn't change much, just more enemies, you can't play for too long. Overall it was a really cool concept but it needed more enemies. P.S I liked how the music changed at the end!

I'm not sure if it's a feature or an accident but I really love that fact that you can damage the core with your own attacks. Overall really fun game

Developer

It was indeed a feature!  In fact, you could damage the core as a player before there were enemies implemented in the game. :)

I really liked the consistent electronic theme and the sprite work is really well done! I think a time trial mode would be really cool for this type of game too! Congrats on the submission.

It seems to be cool, but it's just not fun, there's only 1 sprite out of monsters :|

Well, I think we did pretty decent for three days.  It's a little disheartening you didn't find it fun at all because I was really proud of the gameplay, but to each their own.
