I'm struggling to find a solution for doing an online leaderboard in my game engine of choice, GameMaker Studio 2, for desktop (there are APIs for it for mobile but not desktop or web). What is meant by offline leaderboard? Like, just a high score leaderboard in the game itself?

I think u should atleast make highscore system if u dont know how to make leader board

But is that allowed for the jam? Tracking high scores in-game is easy. I just want to make sure I'm following the rules.

highscore displayed at the end of a run is fine :)

what if no other person online can see the high score you achieved??

the highscore is for streamers, so anyone will see it(because they will stream it).
