Can anybody who participated in any game jams give me any advice? I'm not the best at making games quick and if there are any tips I would be more than happy to hear them! :)
set up a basic plan of what you want to do. after that get basic gameplay done. after that you can lightly work on some art. pixel art is faster to make (atleast it is for me, other styles may be faster for you). A small story is good to keep the player emotional attached to your game. themes like this may require more story than others. most importantly make something that will leave an impact on someone. and dont overdue post processing.
