Great horror point-and-click adventure! I think all the narrative elements for an interesting more fully fleshed story are here - missing persons, hippie cults and a creepy forest - and I'm interested to see how this could progress! I like that a lot of work was done with the setup and worldbuilding. The puzzle design as has been said was intuitive and fairly logical. The grainy 3D graphics were on point and perfect for the tone, and I like how they were used in an unorthodox way as static backgrounds for a point and click game! A very cool and immersive experience.

As far as potential improvements, I think the inventory UI could use some work. The shadows delineating items were a tad vague and I was pressing Alt a little bit to find things.  There's also an odd bug or two, such as dialog getting accidentally mixed with item item descriptions, and the edges of the area movement in the reception not really working on lower resolutions. Otherwise I was hooked!

Thanks for submitting this game to the SCREAM EMPIRE jam!

Hi, beloved host! Thank you very much for hosting this jam. It was one of the reasons that led me to make my first ever game on my first ever jam! :))

Thank you very much for your kind words, they mean a lot! And I do plan to finish it in a more leisurely pace than the frantic 10 days I had with it during the jam lol

And thank you for your feedback on the UI and for the  bug reports! I really appreciate it and I will definitely take it into account! :))

I loved the atmosphere in this game. Play with your headsets on!

This game sets a natural dark tone that does not feel 'forced into your face'. I have encoutered no bugs as I have played just now.

The art of the environment also looks really good, and the few lines of writting that we have are beyond well made.

I highly advise you to give this game a go, though, be ready, you will be left wanting more.

Hi pissant!! Thank you very much for trying it out!

And thanks for sharing the bug. The wire hanger has been causing some issues for other people that tested as well. (other issues even, lol) I'll upload bug fix very soon.

The intro being skippable was feature #1 that people asked for, really glad it was of use :)

Thanks again!! :)

This was really good, the atmosphere was great and the puzzle easy but not too much, I really hope to see it continued.

It's my best hope to do so. I planned a much bigger teaser, but due to time limitations I wasn't able to do it. You had the same problem, right? lol

Anyway, thanks a lot for trying it out and for your feedback!!

I loved it ! The art is gorgeous and I was drawn into the game right away. The flow of the puzzle is great as well. I was so ready to keep playing the game at the end, I can't wait for part 2  !
