  • Love the idiosyncratic design and visuals. It's really cool that you took the photography to set up the background images for the game environment, and provided the game with a bit of a backstory!

I definitely appreciated originality in the visuals. Game jams are made for experimentation! And this game is a great example.
That being said... needed music (any music, it's 10 minutes of searching for royalty-free stuff, and it gives a lot to the game) and better controls. Controls need to be intuitive unless you're making some giant blob of mechanics like Caves of Qud. "What is the easiest and the most intuitive way for player to do what I want them to do?" - great question I always ask yourself when designing.
I hope my feedback helps. Interesting concept and aestetics! Keep doing what you're doing :)

Thanks for the feedback I really appreciate it. Unfortunately there was game music but  I deleted part of my sound objects code and couldn't fix it in time to submit my game on time :( But it was fun, I loved the game jam theme!

I got glitched on the menu. I couldn't hit the play button

The menu button wasn't working when I submitted, but if you just hit the green play button it should work, altho I made this on windows 10 in GameMaker: Studio 1.4999,  so if you have windows 11 maybe it isn't compatible, thanks for the info I'll see if I can fix it, and tons of other stuff too haha
