Scaling always like that, huh, we downsized our game too.
The only problem with monsters is stylistic continuality, because the world is much more detailized and 'volumetric'. They are cool by itself but there is a stylistic mismatch with the rest of the game.
But im no artist tho, so my opinion is just my opinion :D good luck!

Wow! There is a lot of details here. You really worked hard.
Sadly, I got stuck in boxes, lol. I will return to this game!

I liked it, very smart idea to combine a card game and a platformer. Had it been done before?

Nice meditative (well, before 250) game. I liked the music!

Nice little game!
Smoother movement would feel nice!

Nicely done!
The only problem I had is that kittens spawn after I entered the room, so often I have much less time then needed to run away or shoot.

Spoons! A lot of spoons. Wife didn't get it :-\
I like the idea but balance was wrong and it did spoil fun a little bit (wife didn't like my balanced fried rice kit and said i got nothing :-\)
Hope to try updated version!
Overall, fun and nice.

Nice! More conditions when selling tickets would make the game more interesting.

Looks quite cute, clean and made with love! Nice work with art and sound.
Lacks intuitivity. While player is presented with controls, it's very unclear what do they do. Even with description on the submission page (and players won't be reading that). As a player I see stimulus (as a new object on the floor or a blinking sign) and I want to interact with it the easiest way possible... Pressing 'z' gave me sounds but I couldn't get any further in understanding mechanics.

Postjam version is much better, thanks. But I would advise you to add gradually filling progress bar when dealing with objects on the floor/cracks because it's definitely not clear that you need to hold 'z' instead of pressing it once. Even shortness of a sound indicates solitary action.

Overall, nice and cute. Thank you!

Thank you! Yep, we had a lot of 'brainstorming' at the beginning of jam:)

Thanks! Maybe it felt excessive only in my playthrough, because I think I understood a puzzle, solved it successfully, then failed the next one and had to repeat the process I already did with the previous, where there were no problems. Sorry that I was wrong about amount of levels with that mechanic, I guess I failed only 'important' ones :)

Probably will be one of the top games this jam. Quite unique, fun and challenging at the same time. Great job.

Nicely done and very captivating puzzle. The only thing I would love to see be done differently is that you gave to solve previous puzzle again for the second time after you fail. What a punishment :0
Overall, great.

Very cute and fun. Some parts are a little bit confusing mechanically, but overall a cute little game.

Yey, I did it! Thank you. Maybe difficulty modes inside the game would be a good decision.
The new question: is it possible to copy a link in the end? Not for me probably, because there is no mouse on the screen, and copying it letter by letter is... Well.:) Maybe you can make redirection by mouseclick?

That was really difficult, but I liked it. Well, I gave up pretty early because of difficulty, but clever-me from another dimension is definitely still playing!

Thanks! That's no less challenging but I managed to see the changes:))

Thank you!

I'm glad to help!

I really liked the style, the music and the idea. And I love card games. So I played enough to write some feedback:

What would be nice to see improved:
a) Some cards (to the right) cannot be seen at all times. With this mechanic I want to know what cards I currently have without having to put my mouse over each one of them.
b) When mouse hovers over a card, that card moves to the new position, where mouse no longer hovers over it. That creates problems with pulling cards, does not feel good.
c) There is some bugs that prevented me from pulling a card after I got some cards from the library.

Nice work with colors. Idea fits game jam well too.
Music choice is... Interesting. Unique. Ha-ha, well, it grew up on me over time. After some time I started to like it.
Good job overall.

I liked it. The only problem I ran into was that I couldn't change my bet.
А вообще круто:) Цельное высказывание, качественно воплощенное в виде игры. Так держать!

Thank you!

Music is very fitting!
Sadly 'jump length problem' prevented me and I suppose a lot of people from enjoying low-sanity changes in the game. If you going to update the game please let me know, would like to play it again. It's unbeatable for me rn.

I love me some puzzle. This one looks interesting and challenging. The only problem is that you need to learn a lot of stuff and cannot play a game without a handbook, which is not perfect. Also would be nice to see some... endgame? Even a scoreboard would be a motivation.
Overall, promising and interesting.

Love Lynch! And Carpenter is awesome too. Thank you!

Thank you!
We wanted to, but our friend was too busy so she just let us borrow some of her old songs instead. We are looking forward to collaborate wiith her more for the updated version of the game tho.

I may be wrong, but is 'movement-while-in-the-air-speed' always the same and after certain point character falls back with the same speed? It feels like you bump into something.
There is a really good vid on the matter:

Wow! Claymation deserves the biggest applause. Very unique style.
I personally would look into physics of jumps a little bit tho. But maybe it's just my preferences.

I fell through the floor into a black void and that felt right.

I liked the idea and light+shadows. Nicely done.
Wish there was better sound design.

It's a nice puzzling platformer. Done nicely.
Was a little bit annoyed that it required installation, but that's gamemaker for you. Also some audio pieces was extremely loud compared to background music. A little bit of sound design would make this game much more enjoyable.

Well, it is actualy a good game. Narrative flow is almost perfect (more conditionals would be nice, like when mum tells you to talk with Jake, but you've already feel like you discussed that matter, or you already did play with your sis and mum asks you to play with her etc)
Problems: it's much bigger then it should be. I mean the file. And it installs! (with this graphics and content it whould be like 15MB max) It's not about gameplay, it's about 'marketing' and accessability. Also I would advise not to forget about your game's page design and screenshots. It is important.
Overall, the game I liked. There is no bugs, it is written very well, music is nice, art is ascetic, but effective. Good job.

Very stylish, and I like the idea.
Would love to see more... 'clarity' in the next updates. More intuitive UI/UX would be a good addition. And visible damage numbers, outcome of actions, and what do actions actually do. And more intuitive controls may be. A lot of potential here! I liked it.

Mb I need gameMaker installed or smth? o.o
Let me know when you found out, I would like to play your game :,>

Wow! Good job!

That actually was pretty fun! I liked the concept. Monster is scary, but actually doesn't hurt us :3

exe is not running for some reason :(
