- Probably a little too challenging for my patience, but this rage action-platformer is really neat and has incredibly surreal, distinctive sprite art. Seriously, the animations are on another level. I like the cosmic horror approach to the narrative as well!

After getting used to the hook I managed to progress a bit and it was quite fun and interesting. However the difficult escalates very quickly and it become very frustrating to try to progress. But I kind of did the same when I developed my first game, so I symphatise. :)
honestly I liked the sounds, with just a tiiiinny amount of ambient background fx it would be enough. sheesh this is a hard game

I like your game concept, however its quite difficult. I could never manage to make it through the door after playing for a while. Anyways Nice work! I really like the art of the green monsters and giant skeletons.
Damn, it happens a lot to me while developing. I test the game so much that it seems super easy to me. I will keep this in mind for my next game. Anyways there is a video in the itch io page if you would like to see the boss, i think i made a good job with his sprites and attacks, first time making music so it kinda sucks. Fun game, I was doing great but then a giant skeleton blocked the door and would not move and let me through. Kind of rude of him lol.
Thanks for playing the game! As for the skeletons, they have one second cooldown between attacks, and when you attack them their attack animation goes back for 2 frames so you have enough time to dodge. I'm in school rn so i will be sure to check your game when i get home.
