This feels like the makings of something interesting! As the others have said, the combat feels a bit unbalanced. The enemy that you only encounter on the second screen feels very difficult.
The aesthetics - the colour choices, the environmental art, the enemy art and so on - give the game a definite sense of place. I'm not a huge sci-fi fan, but I definitely left this game wanting to find out more about its world! The crafting idea was interesting - if the game was longer I'd be interested to know how the crafting mechanic fits into the world more widely, whether it's something that lots of people do to survive, or if it's something the player character has as a unique skill, or something else.
Congrats on submitting a game, and for trying out some new stuff in RPG Maker. Hope you enjoyed making this and carry on working on the project!
As others have already said, the combat's too difficult. That's not so bad when you seem to respawn without any consequences. But as you said you intend to continue development, I do suggest lowering the difficulty at least at the start of the game.
The crafting system is nice, although empty-handed out of the gate the battles do feel unfair. On the first screen I walked into a lot of walls before I found the next room so I'd recommend some kind of shadow/arrow notification on the triggers that move you to the next scene. Interesting set up though, it had me curious about the potential story.
Could definitely use some re balancing but overall I thought the combat was fun. Solid game !
I liked the idea of a crafting system, and was really interested in seeing where the game was going in regards to world / story. I also found the enemies to be interesting, and liked when I died that I sort of rebooted (was a nice touch). From what I was able to experience I think some rebalancing would help. After my first encounter I had only 12 health, and not enough items to craft anything beneficial. Nevertheless thank you for sharing your game, and I enjoyed playing it!
The battles are a little unbalanced but I like the textures a lot! I'd love to see where you go with this
