If you used the SCREAM ROULETTE, what results did you use to inspire your game?
While I did use the roulette initially, in the end I did not utilize it directly. I went from roulette to gambling to black jack, which lead me to my black jack inspired horror game.
What engine did you use to make this game?
Unity

It was done very efficiently, 5 for aesthetics.
Have you thought about adding some additional mechanics, like abilities in Balatro or Buckshot roulette? I think that would be cool.
By the way, we also made a card game for this jam, you can check it out :)
Thank you for the feedback! I definitely had more abilities planned on both sides, it just came down to time. 😄 But I'll add some in a future update! I just saw, I will give your game a look tomorrow!
BALATRO!!!! This is such a good concept and i'd really love to see what ideas you had to add to this!
As it is - Love the visuals, the eerie feeling you first get before you spend a half an hour with bad luck trying to win. I wish the jump scares were more scary but not much you can do when you know it's coming and with how often you(mainly me) lose
Thank you for checking it out!😄
I definitely want to improve the scares in the future, together with the abilities you have. Thanks for the feedback!
Very cool game! That's an interesting idea to create a horror game centered around gambling. I think that this could work very well with some more time. Maybe like a horror themed Balatro would be cool. For the gameplay, I think it would have been more engaging if you gained health back when you won compared to nothing happening. Also, I think I encountered a bug where the game ended early, I won a match but the game still ended. The artwork is very neat as well! Great work!
Thanks a lot for the very detailed feedback! I just pushed a quick fix for the intended win screen!😄
I initially had many more special abilities planned, for the dealer and for the player, to make the core loop more engaging. But you know, the time... I hope to return to this in the future and give it all a few more mechanics!
I also checked out your game and left a rating!
