Well, it's pretty good. Kinda hard, and the final cutscene seems like it was made in a rush, but the gameplay and the idea are cool (despite the bugs). Good game, not the best of this jam, but still pretty decent.
Hi! Sorry for the late response.
Thank you so much for playing! We are glad that you took the time to finish the game—it鈥檚 so buggy that most people give up on the first level.
The game was finished in a rush a few hours before the end of the jam. We didn鈥檛 even have time to play-test it, so yeah, it鈥檚 really buggy.
As for the final cutscene, we made it in just a couple of minutes at the last moment, so it was definitely rushed. :)
Have a wonderful day!

Good on you for co-ordinating voice acting to create a cinematic experience! There's some funny exchanges and in-jokes with the Portal gun and allusions to the stage getting dark. The water gun is a funny idea and the character's reaction to it is golden. The Portal comparison, whilst not immediate in terms of mechanics, does come to mind in terms of a well-scripted, voice-acted game with puzzle mechanics. In terms of level design and puzzles, definitely recommend thinking about how the designs aid or get in the way of the flow and how they make sense in the context of a level. For instance, I wasn't too sure how to proceed with the switch and button setup in the first puzzle room; I assumed I had to find multiple blocks - sadly not the non-interactable one in the same room - to weigh them all down or there was a relationship between them I didn't quite get. Nailing this stuff takes time and it's shocking how much you were able to setup in a week for something very ambitious and imagining a much bigger scope than the space of this jam. I hope you're able to refine this into the game it absolutely has the potential to be. Would love to revisit this one especially if you can share a bit of guidance on the puzzles. Great work!
Hi !
Thanks you so much for the kind comment 馃コ
It means a lot to us !
Unfortunatly we finished this build in a rush and the game is barely playable .. so we are glad you still enjoyed the game 馃コ.
We definitely had fun writing the lore but there is only like 10% of the lore in the build.. in reality the story is a bit more deep..
We Didnt had the time to do what we wanted.. but i guess it id how it is..
Also thanks for pointing out the problems to solve to make the game easier to understand and play 馃コ.
Have a nice day 馃コ .

Well shoot, I spent almost half an hour trying to make that first bounce jump. No idea what I was doing wrong. I liked the aesthetics of the Portal-style game, and I'm impressed that you got actual character animations in there along with voice acting, but alas the gameplay experience was hard to enjoy. The sensitivity on the character's aiming, along with the odd, jerky movements almost made me motion sick (which rarely happens for me in video games). It felt like we had at least 2x gravity, which made it extra difficult to make the jump. Saddest of all, I never got to find out what the gun did. Lastly, I really didn't get much of a horror vibe. Maybe it comes along later, but it invoked more frustration than fear, but again I suspect that this game has more psychological horror.
It's still an impressive effort for under 7 days of development. If you get a chance to iron out some of those issues it might be a really fun experience. Keep it up!
The horror does come later : the first level isn't horror at all, the second level turn to horror for a whole half (maybe even more than a half), and the last level is entirely with the horror vibe. But yeah, if you don't play long enough you wont see any horror.
As for the water gun, it can do three things: it contains the flashlight (usefull if not necessary in level2 and 3), it can lift up some objects (grabbing them as you can do in these types of puzzle game) and can hack computers (because why not).
Ah, gotcha. Sorry I couldn't get the hang of the mechanics for that one jump, I'm not super good at playing games, which is probably why I made them. lol
Still, it looks like a great start! Hope you can take it further!
Hi !
Thanks for your comment 馃コ!
We finished this build in a rush.. so it's barely playable, the problem with th gravity and motion you encountered is most likely a bug (there are many in this build XD) because on our side everything works great, and as HappyPappaya already said, the horror come later.. the first level is just a tutorial..
I'm sorry yoy could not play the game fully 馃槄
Have a nice day 馃コ!
No worries! My game had a few bugs and mistakes that lead to a lot of people being unable to finish it, so I totally understand. I was happy that I got a chance to try it, and if you should do any major updates to it, I hope I get a chance to try it again!
Happy deving!
