We were with my wife for 7 days in a secluded forest in the mountains tens of kilometers away and no internet. So we brainstormed for 7 days and then in 2 days we built this prototype. There is a great view of the immersive atmosphere, the mysterious message and the breathtaking gameplay.

What an awesome story behind the development process. Clearly the brainstorming in the woods gave plenty of opportunity to think about how to execute something creepy. Good structure to build on with this one, and you have some great systems in place to expand on the design - I was really impressed by the professional layout of the inventory, and think you could easily get away with integrating the health UI on the screen. Lots of creepy interiors and set pieces too. Love the idea of the dying glowsticks giving way to darkness - finally a light system in a horror game that isn't just a torch and has an in-universe reason for a creepy red hue! Hope you can keep working on this one!
Thank you …. After three years of unsuccessfully looking for a job in the game industry, your reaction is like the light at the end of the tunnel ;) Thank you very much for the comment, and if you like the game, I can promise that as soon as GameJam is over and I can update the game, I have it almost finished ….. I just need animations and voiceover ;)
Really good job with this game!
Visuals and lighting is nice. The atmosphere was definitly scary for me!
I didn’t knew what to do past the second room, I searched around but didn’t find anything. The camera in the first room was also turning itself every 2 or 3 seconds, I wasn’t sure if it was intended to mess with my perception of space but it was interesting.
Congrats!
Yes srry for that weak prototype ;) I allready have ver. 0.1b …. Almost
