This is just challenging enough to be fun. The spiders moving just as fast as the player makes them feel threatening, and their movement feels unpredictable. Tracking the player's high score was also a nice touch.
I liked the gameplay. I think having the player the same color as the food makes me want to go after that food and avoid the spiders. The hit boxes were a little bit bigger, but that was probably just the framing of the png file around the actual enemies. The sounds weren't bad and they made me laugh. Overall, good time, would play again.
I like the gameplay, it provides a good challenge! You really made the enemies move like spiders, awesome job. Only real downsides is the background being a bit intense visually and the collision detection being a bit too lenient, leading to lives getting lost when I wasn't visibly close to the spiders. There's also not much feedback for when you do get hit, but everything else is great! (The chomp sound effect is hilarious)
The game is a lot of fun to play and it really hard. I feel like the players hit box is a bit too big though. I really like the art style and the sound effects work together wonderfully. The player moves at a good speed making it easy for me to understand where I can and cannot get to. I also did not know where the player was when I first started because the cockroach looked a lot like the potatoes. I really like the movement for the obstacles making it hard to figure out where they are going to be going next.
I really enjoyed your game! It is fast-paced and quick and even though I get eaten, it is a really cute game. I like how you made the movement random for all the beetles, it adds a lot of variety to the game. Great job!

Very difficult with how unpredictable the spiders moved. I also liked how the beans had slightly random sizes.

This has a fun premise, with great sound bytes by the way. The background can be quite distracting at times, but it didn't take away the enjoyment.
