The gameplay was interesting and the art style actually went really well with it! I like the idea!in execution the game could have benefitted with slightly different level design 9the enemies felt too close, didn't really give time to react) and with some immunity frames so the enemy didn't just instantly sapp all our health. Still though, an amazing entry!

Developer

Thank you so much!! I'll take the feedback into account! Level design and immunity frames are def something I'll start working on and try to improve.

Nice submission! If you're looking for feedback, the mechanics were a really interesting and fun take on the theme, but the movement did feel a little restrictive. Making the player move faster or making the attack faster/more responsive would do wonders and keep the player more engaged.

Thank you so much for the feedback!! Yeah you raise a great point, especially that the attack's speed was also something that bugged me quite a bit during development. Can't wait to improve on it, thank you so much!

I like the idea you were going for, and I appreciate all of the hand drawn art. The controls were a little hard to get used to though. And the jump is bugged so that sometimes it activates all of your abilities at once

Developer

Thank you!! I'll do my best to further improve my coding to take things like these into account, as well as how controls are organized.
