The game was really well done! the artsyle looks cool, the gameplay feels fairly smooth and I like the music! One thing id say is more sound effects to go with the attacks.. it's hard to tell when I hit the enemies or not!

also great job with the highscore table. don't know how you implemented that but it's a cool feature!

I think I commented on the game page instead of this one, but this game was really cool and polished. I love the art and background music, and the weapons (especially ball orb thing!!) felt really good to use. I also like large variety of enemies with different enemies having different weaknesses, but maybe that could be more clear- originally I thought enemy color pertained to which weapon to use, but I don't think that is the case. Also, having only one attack button attack based on the way you're facing instead of four for each direction might help simplify the controls. The score board was also a really cool addition. Anyways, really great and fun submission!

The basic game mechanics are pretty fun! Especially with that leaderboard egging you on.

Here's some constructive criticism from the guy with the high score on hell:

- It's not very clear what the range on the melee weapons is. It makes them somewhat hard to use. And because the blue weapon is the only ranged weapon, I basically only use that one, regardless of enemy weaknesses.

- Enemies can spawn right next to the player, making you take damage that feels unfair. Consider adding a check to make sure enemies don't spawn within a certain distance, or perhaps just not in the same room

- It can get annoying running around hunting for the one enemy left who's just stuck in a doorway somewhere. Some kind of hud element, like an arrow pointing to the enemies left, might be a good idea

- "play again" should launch you back into the game, not back out to the menu

All that being said, I had a good time! I think with some refinement, and maybe expand on some of the elements, this could really go somewhere!
