this is great. better than the many character class entries I’ve seen. My only quibble is that the class is a desert wanderer that eats mushrooms. Not many mushrooms in a desert.

Thanks for the feedback, my inspiration came from the 'Desert Shaggy Mane' mushroom. In my case my shrooms are intended to grow in tunnels left by great worms off of the moisture of their slime trail and be quite rare.

A fantastic flavor twist using the core rules and avoiding the pitfalls of old.

Now I want a whole Dune-themed campaign, or to run Dark Sun with Shadowdark rules. What have you done?

I'm running the desert outlined in Cursed Scroll 2 at the moment. I have a concept for a dune themed game in another part of my game world map I could run but haven't spent tons of hours on it yet.

Sorry, I meant that more along the lines of "I love this idea. Can't get it out of my head. You magnificent bastard."

But cheers for the suggestion of the desert in Cursed Scroll 2. I just had a look and that's a great idea. Thanks!

Very dune. I dig it :)

When I saw this I had horrible memories of the psionics rules in the first edition of AD&D (they were disastrously bad). But you avoided that catastrophe by using the core ShadowDark rules. I love the mind blast.
