  • Interesting game. It was fun to play and it seemed to have quite the narrative for a jam game! You managed to sneak in some cool mechanics as well :D

    The game overall was a fun experience, but as always I've found some things that could be improved in my opinion:
    - The level design felt all over the place. I liked that you had some cool mechanics but I would've liked to see more space and time to learn them or find different uses for them within the stage. For example - a ton can be done with those expanding or bouncing blocks, yet they were almost never used to their full extend. I just saw them once and that's it
    - The audio, although funny, felt a bit lackluster. It was creative that you did it with your voice but the intro felt a bit hard to follow as you had different characters speaking but with the same voice. It was hard to discern. But I really do appreciate the effort put in and it made the game feel more unique to me!
    - The music became quite annoying after a short moment of playing, this was not because of the usage of your voice but rather the composition I reckon.
    - Some aspects felt rather unclear to me at the start, like the shooting enemies or the keys as you didn't really have a standard for what were interactable blocks or not. As colors and forms were all over the place for keys and blocks, while some were still white like the bouncing circles.
    - I didn't really feel that I was saving my sister, it just felt like collecting stuff without context. The story felt disconnected.
    - The moving platforms didn't drag my character along with it so I had to awkwardly walk with it.
    - Give the player more room to test the newly introduced mechanics out, don't throw them into a pit with a wolf for example and hope they survive :)

    Things I liked about the submission:
    - Creative use of your voice.
    - Interesting mechanics like the growing platforms and bouncing ones.
    - A narrative.
    - Exploration in a sense of choosing where to go next without knowing what I will find.
