I played this game on my phone (on safari), so I didn't get to see the UI changes, but the story itself is really touching, and I loved making the most heartbreaking choices! It's very well written and I totally identified with this vacation romance.
Thank you for commenting! I'll have to see if there's anything I can do for Safari compatibility, as I've only tested it with desktop and mobile Chrome. I'm happy it was still an enjoyable experience regardless 💜
I really liked this one, probably because I'm a hopeless romantic and got the ending that fit me best.
It's so awesome to see people commenting on how much they like their different endings, thank you for commenting! 💜
the pillows song was great for setting the tone of the summers. it was easy to connect with the mc's feelings, and I think a lot of readers can also relate to the conflict between scrambling to hold onto belief and the glaring necessities of practicality. there's something about stories about growing up through summers spent by the ocean that just hit different. great work!
(Belated) thank you for your comments! I think the song sets the mood of the whole piece so well, and I'm glad to see people agreeing. I'm so fortunate to have gotten such an emotive song to work with 💜
There are multiple things in the game that hit me personally, such as the "See you later," thing. I very much did get something out of reading while listening to the pillows' song. The UI of the game and the backgrounds of the page are an excellent example of combining them to make the experience that much better. I loved Caspian and the little gifts.
Alone, I am moved by the game, but with the pillows playing (as recommended), I am beyond tears.
Truly a wonderful game and I had a great time reading it. And I hope you know that despite the difficulty you had in finishing it, it was well worth getting the chance to read it.
