This was such a fun little game to play! It is exactly what I've been aiming to  (but failing to -) make!  A simple game with one clear mehcanic that you want to keep playing until you've completed all the levels! the levels were quite easy to complete properly (90%+ on my first attempt in all the levels), so if you were to expand it, more difficult levels would be a good idea, but the groundwork is great!

I   loved the interactive menu, but wasn't a big fan of the music. Although it was a nice melody in general , it didnt fit with the rest of the game for me. It might have helped to either keep the bpm in line with the timer or to have something that keeps you a little more on edge (again, considering the timer is quite low!)

Defiintely would play more if you decide to make more levels.

Developer

Thanks so much for the actual feedback! This is my first completed game out of around 6 months of game dev, so I feel you about not finishing them.

The levels could definitely use some expansion. I wanted to make sure I had more than one, but didn't want to rush a bunch that would stretch the experience too thin. I had originally planned on putting enemies such as an ant that pushes you around or a spider that jumps at you, but didn't have time to get that working.

I was struggling with how to tell the player instructions for the game without putting in an explicit tutorial. The menu may be my favorite part.

Thanks for the feedback on the music. I was going for more of a whimsical sound, but I could easily see if the timer is ticking down, it could have been a tension piece. It was my first time composing, so it was more of a crash course in music.
