Hi! Looking forward to the jam!

What would count as "made during the jam"? That is one of the requirements.

I'm asking since I haven't done much ASM coding since 20 years. I'm currently testing out my success on some ideas for the SNES out of nostalgia. That said, any progress I make k now, nowledge wise and code snippet wise (probable also assets), would almost certainly be part of an jam entry, if I make one.

How is "made during the jam" going to be asserted?

Cheers!

If you code an engine (in asm), it's not counted during the jam.

The only thing that is "counted" is the game during the game jam , before that you can code an engine, a library etc

And it's highly recommended because it's nearly impossible to make a full asm game from scratch for the SNES.

This is why the gamejam is announced well in advance to let people prepare in terms of code and assets (because yes open game art or other is accepted for assets).
