I was enjoying the game but immediately deleted it when a "game over" consisted of the cat being kicked/stomped on. (Yes, I do know it was supposed to be funny, I just found it upsetting instead.)
A solid entry!
the game is really good i like how instead of creating rage in player while the game the player can take its rage out in the game.
if u plan to develop this game in future here are some improvements
1.The cat was able to go through some stuff(absence of collider?)
2.when we "meow" maybe the ower comes and pat us?
3. make the destroying a lil more satisfying.
Hey thanks for playing the game! I actually planned for the meow to be used to get the humans attention so you could lure them away from things you wanted to break but I wasn鈥檛 able to implement it in time. As for the collisions I originally had the cat collide with everything but found that colliding with breakable objects made the push mechanic obsolete as it was easier to run into them so I just turned off collision with them for the submission. I plan to work on the game some more after the jam is over to fix those problems. Im glad you enjoyed the game and thanks for the feedback!
This game is really complete and really good. This level of polish in one week is incredible! The camera was a bit wonky, but not sure how you would fix it without a LOT more work. Great job!
Thanks for checking out the game and for the feedback! I noticed the camera could get a bit messed up as well lol. I originally had the camera be a third person view that followed the car around at all times but found it wouldn鈥檛 play well with collision on the furniture and would clip into them or be disorienting if it didnt. I think adding more camera angles, smoothing the transitions and tweaking the checks to see what camera should be active could help the cameras feel less clunky. I plan on working on the game a bit more after the jam to address these issues. Again thanks for checking out the game and for the feedback!
