Sorry, I wasn't able to run your game on my computer because it prompted me to "allow it to make changes to my computer" (which other .EXEs for games didn't do), so I can't rate it.

Aw, I was disappointed you didn't have a chance to finish it, I thought I did something wrong because I couldn't get past the second room. XD I liked the idea, and it was pretty fun, but I also ran into some bugs/errors. Like, I went back through the door to the first room and it reset everything and gave me the bat back, but then when I played through to the second room again, trying to go through the locked door turned the bat back into a knife, and then there was a second knife on the floor as well until I "picked it up" and it disappeared. The options screen gave me a laugh! XD
I really liked the idea, but it was pretty unplayable for me. I don't know what I was doing wrong but the little dude just didn't seem to have the jump power to make that first jump so I was stuck in the starting area. (Also, I ran into the same glitch that The Path Developers did where the dude didn't move, but that only happened randomly sometimes and not every time.)
The game kept ignoring my keyboard inputs and/or reading inputs for keys I wasn't pressing. (And no, I didn't lose track of which was the right/left hand.) I often got stuck spinning because it wouldn't accept a grab from my other hand at all, often meaning one of the blocks would knock me down before I could move on. Kinda frustrating - and not in the good way. If I'm going to rage at a game I want it to feel like MY fault I'm failing.
There were no instructions on how the controls worked, so I never figured out how to fire the gun at the skeletons. No idea what I was supposed to do with the rhythm game. Catch the fire disks? Dodge them? Also, the game just sort of crashed and went back to the main menu after a couple seconds before I even got attacked by skeletons in the fps game, so I didn't even have time for trial and error to figure out the controls on my own.
Pretty short, so not much to say here. The "hit box" for clicking on the angry man is kind of finicky - I kept getting the "you lost" ending when I definitely clicked on him. I think it would be cool to see some randomized screens with him in different places, to give it some replay value! Aside from those things, it's a fun little game. :D
What a great game! I had a lot of fun playing it. Controls were pretty easy to figure out, and then it just became a question of my own reflexes LOL. I enjoyed how the rage from the jam's theme was an actual game mechanic/attack to use, very clever! The music and graphics were very fitting, too. And I laughed out loud at the ending. :D
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to figure out what the controls actually did. After a lot of trial and error (and eventually finding the instructions) I figured out that clicking on the blue light with the faces makes it go from a smiley face to a frownie face and back, but I wasn't able to see any effects it might be having on traffic, either vehicles or pedestrians.
Really nice!! Controls felt completely consistent and fair while mechanics are 100% unforgiving so that when the player rages they have no one to be mad at but themselves >:} (High-score so far: 10) Music was a bop and perfect tempo for the gameplay, sfx & graphics were also nice! Great job, and when I have time I still intend to try to increase my high score! XD
I don't know if it's a bug/glitch, or if it's because I'm on a laptop with a trackpad (it does have left/right click buttons) but "right-click to grapple" unfortunately did nothing at all when I tried it. Cool music & graphics! The WASD/space movement was nice, and the bounce mechanic from the obstacles was hilarious XD
I'm really looking forward to how you expand on this after the jam! It could be cool to see more choices for little goblin dudes maybe, like different types of collectors (ones that aim for better eggs but cost more, or collectors who move faster or have more health) and/or protectors (ranged protectors like these or ones that follow collectors more closely like bodyguards but only have limited-range melee attacks) for example!
This was very fun to play! I really enjoyed the retro style, and it made me super nostalgic for Shooting Gallery on the old TRS-80 Color computer I had when I was little. <3 Good music/sound effects, good mechanics, and no bugs or issues that I found! Simple but clean and polished, and I enjoyed it a lot! Great job on this!
This story went in a different direction than I expected. I loved how the lore unfolded through subtle hints in the dialogue with all the villagers. I also noticed that Norgrim spoke to himself ("I miss her so much," etc) but didn't reply to the people - not sure if that was intentional or not but I thought it was a neat bit of characterization for this sad, lonely old man. You told a great story and you told it wonderfully. It was very linear but still lets the player explore at their own pace & choose how much to interact on their way to the ending. Beautiful job mapping, great music and sound design. The only thing I even found to nitpick is there's a door opening sound effect when entering the mouth of the cave - that's it. <3 (Also, definitely deserves the saddest game award. ;) )
