The Discord Question Sticky

I was asked one small question:

Is there discord?

My answer is no. because I think the amount of people is too small to open one of these.

Admittedly, I'm more of a question mark - will you open one?

Our jam is a month-long and maybe it was an excellent place to meet others and find groups to work with or alternatively - share ideas.

I'm leaning toward that, but I want your opinion.

I had the idea that maybe one server that can be used for multiple smaller projects. That way it can be re-purposed over and over, and it could be nice for networking.

There could be locked channels for specific jams/projects, and a main channel where everyone can chat and talk about the projects without cluttering the actual project chats with random people.

I bet there are more people who think starting a server is too much work when only a few people wanna work on a project.

This is not a bad idea.

I already built the server ready, but the group is a bit too small, I agree. Maybe together we can build and develop it.

I'm for it.
