i really liked the use of bryce for this entry! definitely lends itself to the nightmare feel of the game. i would recognise those modus interactive renders anywhere as well, and they're used very effectively. unfortunately, i had a bug when i entered the obelisk! when i tried to fashion a stick to attack the nodule my game crashed.

overall though, i was really invested in where the story was going and the use of bryce was unique. i'd be interested to see it expanded upon outside of the jam!!

Thanks for the comment and taking the time to play my game! modus interactive has some really amazing renders, it was a pleasure to be able to use some of them for a project of this nature. And thanks for spotting that bug, I’ll patch that up when I’m rolling out the next update.

i thought it had a slow start, not really sure what my motivation was supposed to be, but i ended up immersed really quickly. actually i thought the ambience was really effective at putting me on edge haha. the visuals are unique, they remind me of myst or the dracula games, and i was wondering if either was an inspiration for you? i like your writing style as well. if there was infinite time to make the game my feedback would be to give more of an intro,  and build up to discovering the obelisk? i dunno! i thought it was awesome
