Very fun! Has a lot of heart that it surprisingly develops over such a short period of time.
I loved this so much. Great entry!
Holy crap this game was so cute considering the subject matter?? It felt so much like the kind of sitcom Halloween movie I would've watched growing up, down to the Ocean's 11 and Phantom references! I really loved how lived-in this world felt, and how each ending revealed a different part of the overall story. Y'all did a fantastic job with this game and I also super appreciated the guide. I got perhaps my favorite one on my own but would've absolutely missed out on the utter zany, sitcom-like delights that was the other endings, so thank y'all for that too ♥
also side note: Evan is adorable and I would actually die for him so congrats on excellent character design!!
This was so Canadian. Mentioning Timbits made me take a drive to Tim Hortons. I love the mauve purple colors of the opening backgrounds. It felt so Halloween-y and I need this color in my wardrobe. The comic-book art style made the VN feel like it could have been an episode in that 90s Canadian show, Freaky Stories!
Really fun game!! The artwork was so cute - I especially liked the opening shots from the intro - and the story was really well done!
I loved all the side characters you meet along the way, all the lil side adventures were so funny. At the same time, it wasn’t just humour propping up the game - it did take a legit turn into the mystery and ended up being spookier than I thought it would from the initial vibe (but not too scary!!)
I’ve played it once and I already want to play it again to go down another path and discover another ending!
Spoilers for ending
I got the "true name" demon ending and it was great! It really felt like the demon was cutting deep into the protag's insecurities, the climax felt very impactful and it felt very satisfying to get one over him and the drama club :) That's what they get for coming after my dorky brotherLove the characters and love the art style! Great Work!!!
This was a lot of fun!! Engaging story, lovely artwork + animation, great sound design, and high replay value; I especially enjoyed the goose ending, but there was something to love in all the different routes I tried. Thanks for creating + sharing :)
Really nice entry! The variety of sprites is super impressive, especially with how many include little animations. I tried a few different ending, which were all interesting, and the amount of choices was fun. Love the goose, and hope everybody got their well-earned chocolate timbits. Congrats!
This was really fun, the transisitons were nifty, i really liked the comic panel effect used too! The art and sound design were great together and the story was impactful, I’ll be playing again to make different choices. Great work!
