The Wraith in the Woods was a nice, short and sweet horror story that pulls from classic movie set-ups about a friends' camping trip going horribly wrong. Really loved the comic style sequences, the effort and attention to visuals was what really captivated me when I played.
I noticed some minor discrepancies about character names, for example when meeting the characters for the first time, Talking to Connor actually has me talking to Jayden, and talking to Max actually has me talking to Brad. It wasn't too jarring though, and I was still able to follow along the storyline.
Really well done for a solo dev VN, should be proud! Excited to see how you elevate the experience should you decide to write more, or add sound design as mentioned in the About.
Great job!
Thank you
really glad you enjoyed it even though I had to cut it to meet the deadline This has been a huge learning experience about the direction I want to take with VN Thank you for the feedback
Hey!
Although it was short, I very much enjoyed the story. Very classic Horror elements that kept me entertained.
I loved the art style, which was extra impressive as you were a solo developer. The comic like pop ups to show emotions and what was going on during the dialog was a fantastic touch!
Great job on the submission and you should defiantly pursue this further and try to complete the story, it is very promising!
Thank you for the feedback
I was planning on taking it further with a more cohesive story and paths Thank you for playing
