Cute game. I like the fact that you include wall jump in this game. Whether if it was intended or not. It was a nice touch!

Cute little game! While the invincibility-frames didn't seem to work, and sometimes I'd take damage from a bat flying above, the feeling to the platforming controls was solid! I liked some of the little extra challenges from using enemies to grab hard-to-reach candy, and there were some nice lil' particle effects too!

an aesthetically pleasing platformer that defaults w/o much thought to the 'bounce on their heads to kill 'em' mechanics of super mario bros. how does one unlock the 2nd and 3rd levels, or did they not make it into the release? I'm prolly just being dumb. I want to come back to rate after I play the other two levels if possible. so far very neat!

With pixel art games, you want to have a consistent pixel size for the most part. Also, if you are importing images, make sure that there is no kind of filtering that will mess up the perfect pixel. My favorite part was how you were able to incorporate the bounce you get when defeating enemies in with the locations of the collectables for an extra challenge. Overall, this is a pretty good platformer.
