Very cool little game! It's a shame there wasn't time for those inventory clues mentioned in that fascinating dev log, because I somehow assumed you needed a key or something to open that gated door, and didn't think to shoot down all the spirits at first. I think because it initially looked like they were respawning? Still, I got to the end eventually, and really enjoyed the vibe from the music and the backgrounds.

Cute little game! While the invincibility-frames didn't seem to work, and sometimes I'd take damage from a bat flying above, the feeling to the platforming controls was solid! I liked some of the little extra challenges from using enemies to grab hard-to-reach candy, and there were some nice lil' particle effects too!
Very impressive work, from the character/background art, to the UI and interactive element! My only gripe is having a hard time tellling what was shown in those small photos sent to your phone. Still, there's some interesting hints to a deeper story, especially with the randomized kids that join you in the game. (Managed to get the Pumpkin and the ??? ending!)
The visuals have a certain charm, and while I was unfortunately unable to figure out just how to kill the kitchen at the end, I liked the Cheat puzzle!
(By the way, I would recommend uploading each version of the game as a separate zip file, that way people can choose to download the version they need, instead of every version at once, because that makes for a very large download!)
A pretty neat take on the sacrifice theme! Being able to go at it with different strategies, such as sacrificing the right-most buildings while skipping turns to take down more enemies at once with fewer spells, or taking your time building up resources, makes it feel like there's a lot of interesting potential in the game!
Either I never figured out what to do during what appeared to be a 'battle scene', or it just never managed to trigger properly, even after several restarts, so there wasn't much to play here.. Though from the description, it sounds like you at least got some valuable programming experience out of it!
I liked how it played around with expectations, like the switch from computer screen to walking around the apartment, and the music/sound effects were great at setting the mood! Got a little lost trying to find the breakers in the kitchen, but I made it to the horrifying end afterwards, and enjoyed all the little mini-games and their cute pixel art on the way!
