Very cool little game! It's a shame there wasn't time for those inventory clues mentioned in that fascinating dev log, because I somehow assumed you needed a key or something to open that gated door, and didn't think to shoot down all the spirits at first. I think because it initially looked like they were respawning? Still, I got to the end eventually, and really enjoyed the vibe from the music and the backgrounds.

It was a bit tricky to align up to hit the small targets with a small object, but a neat little challenge nonetheless, with some fun voice acting too, a pleasant surprise!

It was a bit tricky to figure out how to attack the enemies properly, but it was still a fun lil' game, with some nice artwork, especially the very cute pumpkins!

Some fun little challenges in some of the stages, and there's some potential in the idea of sacrificing progress for speed, especially since while some of the stages are easier, others are kinda harder when you're going fast!

Cute little game! While the invincibility-frames didn't seem to work, and sometimes I'd take damage from a bat flying above, the feeling to the platforming controls was solid! I liked some of the little extra challenges from using enemies to grab hard-to-reach candy, and there were some nice lil' particle effects too!

A nice little concept with some potential for fun puzzles, good luck if you decide to finish it!

The intro cutscene played a bit too quickly to keep up with, and being unable to read the language, I can't figure out what to do to progress, but I enjoyed the look of the character and the environment still!

I enjoyed the bleak atomsphere from the music/sound effects, and the tension in not knowing just what was happening outside. The character artwork was nice and expressive, too! There's definitely some potential in this setup, looking forward to it if you decide to keep working on it!

Really well made game! The visuals are lovely, from Rana's cute face portraits to the pretty close-up/cutscene artwork, and the use of sound effects in the dialog was clever! Had a nice time with the puzzles, and the charming story had a great payoff too!

Very impressive work, from the character/background art, to the UI and interactive element! My only gripe is having a hard time tellling what was shown in those small photos sent to your phone. Still, there's some interesting hints to a deeper story, especially with the randomized kids that join you in the game. (Managed to get the Pumpkin and the ??? ending!)

A pleasantly goofy little halloween tale! Some of the music loops were on the kinda repetitive side of short, but it was cool to hear the attention put into having so many unique tracks for different scenes!

The visuals have a certain charm, and while I was unfortunately unable to figure out just how to kill the kitchen at the end, I liked the Cheat puzzle!

(By the way, I would recommend uploading each version of the game as a separate zip file, that way people can choose to download the version they need, instead of every version at once, because that makes for a very large download!)

Great dialogue, very fun to read! Though it was often tricky to guess at what flavor topics the questions were asking about, and hard remember how each character responded, I still enjoyed the overall experience. Loved the character designs, too!

A pretty neat take on the sacrifice theme! Being able to go at it with different strategies, such as sacrificing the right-most buildings while skipping turns to take down more enemies at once with fewer spells, or taking your time building up resources, makes it feel like there's a lot of interesting potential in the game!

Cleverly designed puzzles, and cute character designs! Would love to play more if you decide to expand it with more levels!

Incredibly beautiful and haunting imagery, what an evocative experience! Quite the trip into a fascinating world and characters that I wish I could stay longer with, wow!

A treats-nabbing race! It's a bit wonky in the controls, but it still charmed me, with the lovely pixel art (especially the bouncyness of that pumpkin fella), and the cute lil' tune!

Sweet, I'll try playing it then!

An interesting concept, although pure time trial scores didn't really feel like enough incentive to avoid jumping, so adding extra time wasn't as big of a 'sacrifice' for me personally. Altho it was a bit hard to see some of the platforms, the visuals were very pleasing overall!

The audio really added to the tense feeling, and the artstyle worked really well for that too! Unfortunately ran into the bug of cameras never getting enabled again, but at least the monster designs were nice.

Very charming characters, in art and writing, with a lot of fun paths to take, though I somehow stumbled into the 'true end' first try, lol! Really loved the edits of the dog park background too!

Either I never figured out what to do during what appeared to be a 'battle scene', or it just never managed to trigger properly, even after several restarts, so there wasn't much to play here.. Though from the description, it sounds like you at least got some valuable programming experience out of it!

Turning Trick-or-Treating into a sim like that is a fun idea! I wasn't quite sure what some of the stats did exactly, and it would've been nice with a reminder of the stats of your buddies during the choice to leave one of them behind, but the game's got some potential!

Cute little game! Some of the music was a bit unkind on the ears, unfortunately, but I liked the mechanics of having to balance eating so many of these charming little characters, in exchange for continuing the quest, and the moving ghosts was a fun additional challenge to increase the difficulty!

There were a few cases of being able to go past where you aren't supposed to, where I had to restart to avoid it, but it was a neat little experience still! Some nice use of sound effects, and the monster at the end had a cool and spooky design + animations!

Trying to run the game gives me an error about a missing UnityPlayer.dll, unfortunately.

I liked how it played around with expectations, like the switch from computer screen to walking around the apartment, and the music/sound effects were great at setting the mood! Got a little lost trying to find the breakers in the kitchen, but I made it to the horrifying end afterwards, and enjoyed all the little mini-games and their cute pixel art on the way!

Well, that was a surprisingly goofy game! I liked the cute drawing, and the different dialogue options were amusing!

Charming visuals, and the gameplay's exciting! I especially enjoyed the sound effects, they were great!

Really appreciated the tutorial section at the start of the game! It wasn't always easy to get the followers out of harm's reach while running away from the zombies, but it still made for some exciting action, and the animation/sound effects/music really set the mood!

Spooky atmosphere, and a very heart-thumping chase whenever that specter appeared! I also liked the random different protagonists!

Very funny premise for a game, with some really cute art, too! Playing football using rock-paper-scissors is an interesting twist, and the "GOAL" yell made me laugh!

The text in the journals was a little bit hard to read, especially the size in the first one, but the way they both explained the game's controls and added some flavor to the story was cute. Very challenging gameplay, and I liked how you gave it a nice boss-fight feeling at the end with the timer!

This is definitely, some sort of spooky halloween experience, for sure.

Loved the cute pixel art, and the dialogue made me smile! Would be fun to see the platform-sacrificing aspects explored more, but it's a charming game nonetheless!

The low-poly aesthetics are charming, and the pumpkins look great, but after I reached the 10th wave, a weird sound kept repeating infinitely? Still, I managed to save Halloween in the end, despite having to hide a bit to survive until the big boss pumpkin showed up!
