I wasn't sure what to expect when playing this game but I really enjoyed it. Spooky in a mental sense, the hints over time were good! You did a lovely job!

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it :)

I had a feeling I was gonna enjoy your game after some of the stuff I saw you posting on Twitter! Not just because I love your art, but also the general premise was very intriguing from the stuff you were teasing. Definitely my cup of tea :3

The atmosphere had a lovely sense of longing and melancholy and I found it quite calming to play while still feeling as though it was eerie at the same time. It kind of reminded me of this old PC game I played a looong time ago called The Void I think it was. I know they're not even remotely the same type of game, but somehow the atmosphere gave me the same feeling as when I played that all those years ago!

I guess I should put the rest below:

SPOILERS

I managed to reach the end and enjoyed its bittersweetness :3 I thought the story and the way of telling it was refreshing to go through as well as oooing at your pretty art, haha.

I'm not sure if it's a bug or not, but even though I saw the CG with the red shade in the cage, it didn't unlock in the gallery with the others. And I loved the title screen change at the end! Also, I'm not sure if it was a bug or intentional but after getting that last ending, I went to the gallery to gawk at your beautiful art again and the gallery sign and return button were there, but all the slots where the thumbnails would be were just white. I hadn't checked the gallery previous to that, so I have no idea if it was intentional because I mean, it would fit with the aesthetic because it was white/blank. And it's not like you couldn't access the CGs because if you clicked in the right place, they still came up. It's just the thumbnails that were invisible. I deleted the folder from my appdata to see if that made any difference, and when I reloaded the game, the thumbnails did appear as usual, but I still didn't have the CG from red.

Anyways, if it is a bug, it's only a little one! I just thought I'd let you know in case you weren't aware of it. Really loved both the aesthetics and the atmosphere :3

I'm glad you enjoyed the story and my art! I'm also happy to hear all my twitter teasing actually worked haha, it was difficult to know how much information to give and how much to keep secret.

Aaah I had some issues with my UI that cropped up only sometimes so I thought I'd fixed them! I hadn't encountered an issue with the CG gallery specifically but it's probably related, since it had to do with some UI elements being "there" but invisible. For the Pink Shade's CG, I checked my script and it seems I just forgot to make it unlock :O Thanks for reporting these, and thank you for your comment :)

Yeah! I generally don't see much on Twitter anyways because the net connection on my phone is super sketchy, but when I did see your tweets, they really caught my eye and intrigued me :D I feel like you gave just enough to make me wonder what was going to happen without really giving anything away!

Ahh, yeah, that keeps happening to me as well >.< I thought I had fixed all of mine, and then the very first build I made, some text that showed up fine in the previewer had just vanished in the export :( Same thing happened to one of my periods on my loading screen! I had 'Loading ...' on there, and in the preview, it showed up just fine. I didn't notice in time that it reads 'Loading..' in the export >.<" I managed to learn a lot about Unity UI throughout this jam, but I still have no idea why stuff that looks fine in the previewer can be totally messed up or missing in an exported build T_T

I also managed to miss a CG unlock myself, haha. Well, I put it in, but I neglected to press 1 extra key and essentially made the CG impossible to unlock once getting one of the others by accident >.<

Well done! At first, I was sort of confused as to where it was heading, but I'm glad I stuck it out. You touched on a lot of different themes and considering the scope of the game, I think it's remarkable.

Everything did come together, and the eerie atmosphere you built up was quite good. Congrats! Looking forward to seeing more from you.

Thank you! I'm also glad you stuck it out haha, I get that the structure I chose is a little risky and might lose some players. I'm glad you liked the atmosphere as well!

It's nice that you tried, and all things considered you executed it well!
