I had no idea there was voice acting in this going into it, so I was delighted to discover there was since I'm a huge fan of VA in VNs, and with it being 2 VAs I also had the pleasure of working with, it was even more awesome to get to hear them in action as different characters :3

The art is all gorgeous and I love the soundtrack, especially the one that gives me lovely Elder Scrolls vibes ^-^

You're probably already aware of this, but I figured I'd mention it just in case you weren't! When you click on the credits from the main menu, the game's title layer sits on top of the credits text so you can't quite read all of the credits properly. I read what you wrote on the game page though, so I'm guessing you know about it and probably didn't have time to fix it.

I'm intrigued to see where this goes anyhow! Best of luck with the rest of the project :3

SPOILERS

I love this type of story in general where an outsider happens upon a sort of secluded place where things seem strange but welcoming, and then things start going wrong!

Hey, we share some voice actors :)

Based on the quality of the sprites and overall polish, it's probably a good idea to have split this VN up into two parts to fully focus on finishing it later. The result works well as a teaser for the whole story, leaving a lot of questions unanswered.

I think it's an interesting choice to tell the story in third person, but it fits thematically with the main character being an author!

The character and especially creature designs are amazing and the backgrounds work well with the sprites. Especially the color scheme for the backgrounds just gives off this nice and wintery vibe.

In the forest where we run into that green thing (don't want to spoil anything), the background music had this high pitched instrument that seemed to be clipping a bit. Not sure if there's anything you can do about that and I also don't compose, so I'm not even sure if I heard that right.

After Eliseus' night in the village, I felt like the music was a bit too light-hearted for the scene. Not sure if that was due to time constrictions during the jam (you already had a *lot* of different themes, all things considered), but I wanted to point it out in case you overlooked that :)

Without the story being finished, I obviously can't give you full feedback, but so far I think this has good potential, with the mysteries that are being set up and a high quality basis as far as assets go.

Good luck on finishing this VN!

Was surprised this comes with full voice acting. The system is a bit inconvenient, but you have high quality of assets here. The VAs also great

Thank you, a lot of functionality had to be cut due to time constraints, so it is incredibly simplistic in how it plays.
