The prose is so witty--it reminds me a lot of Aviary Attorney if you played that one. Great stylish art with a very consistent feel; I love that one of the characters is a blobfish! And it feels snappily paced and goes along at a good clip. I had a little difficulty with the magnifying glass feeling laggy, but that's probably just because I was playing in-browser.
Very solid beginning, lots of fun critter characters (you directly attacked me by including an axolotl and a blobfish in the same game xD), great writing style, and just a fun Fall-time feeling all throughout. Can't wait to see the whole thing!
Awww I really enjoyed the prologue. The characters are colorful, the vibe is great and very unique and I loved the art. The relationship between the raven and her assistant reminded me of Professor Layton and Luke and I don't know if that was made on purpose and it adds a nice touch to the project. The game is also very well written, and the detective part to find the notebook was a mechanic I appreciated. I can't wait to play the complete version of the game!
I really like the funny conversations and the remarkable characters and I am looking forward into playing the full game!
For just a demo, I'm already super engaged in this world! The jokes are good, the character designs are super charming, and the plot's something I have a feeling will be loads of fun. The gentle wobbling animation also adds a lot of character. Looking forward to seeing more of these squabbling detectives when more of the game releases!!
