I like the concept of harvesting and selling based on the economy. Also, the whole bear-themed stock market and news reports was silly in a very positive way. The music is beautiful and gorgeous.

Unfortunately, the daily cycle if very hectic. It took me three attempts to know what I need to do altough there are explainations. Having bigger numbers for the inventory and prices would be good, too.

The night time was very frustrating because of the dragons' hitboxes, which are very small (this has been noted previously, too). Also, sometimes I have the feeling my arrows get blocked by other arrows that I've already shot and are now floating in the air. Are they in the same hitbox layer?
Surviving the night without having at least $100 seems impossible to me.

That being said, I like the overall concept. Imho it needs balancing tweeks.

Thanks! really glad you liked it! yeah explanations were hastily done the hour that the game was due XD would have loved to put a -$1 on the arrows. Dragons def needed some hitbox/physics/rendering tweaks but also outta time.  Balance probably needs more than just Tweaks XD I will definitely be updating after the rating for the jam is over.

This is really impressive. the audio is amazing, great art and well made gameplay.
Minor pointers:
I think the hitbox on the dragons should be a bit bigger, sometimes it looks and feels like i hit them, but the arrow just goes through
I did not understand first that the clock in the top-left was a clock. My recommendation is to format it HH:MM instead of HH,MM.
I think the minutes went up top 100, not 60

Well done!

Thank you very much, it was a blast to make. Yeah Dragons needs some pretty big tweaks to them. Yeah, I agree with the clock, maybe adding an "AM / PM" would have helped clear that up as well. Yeah the minutes also do go to 100, but I guess it is a fantasy world XD.

This is possibly the best 2D game I have ever played. It beats out triple A games with its graphics and gameplay and fun! It mixes so many topics together and it works so well! The audio was a masterpiece, movie level music. I love the switching of shooter and management. The stock market was an amazing addition that made it different on every playthrough. Wow. Just wow.

Thank you so much! Got a ton of love and effort put into it so I'm really glad you liked it! It was a blast to make and will probably be polished up after the contest is over (fix some bugs and such), but this is probably my favorite game jam I've made, super proud of the team!

All praise for the idea. A combination of management games and shooters. The music is epic and creates an atmosphere. I need to start the game again because I didn't know that every arrow costs a dollar and I was left without crops and money. Maybe it’s just up to me, but the part with the dragons is very difficult. Maybe you should start with fewer dragons so as the game progresses make things harder. Also the part where it is planted, sold to rabbits and the stock market ends too quickly and I don’t get to do everything. Maybe to put a continue button when everything is done would be good. That way, everything could be done calmly, because that part requires strategic thinking. Overall the idea is great, it has depth in it and I see great potential if you keep working on the game.

Love the idea of growing crops and staying up to defend them as they are growing. Would like to see it be improved on like adding crops that grows at different rates. Also, decent background music too that captures the mood of the game nicely.

There's an issue though that there are some occasions where your money could go on the negatives. Also, it would be nice if there's a way for the player to know beforehand that arrows costs money.

Thank you very much!!! Really appreciate it, yeah both are things I wanted to address but didn’t have time too. I wanted like a red -1 to spawn when you use an arrow and maybe shake it to draw attention. With a little more time would have been fun to have each plant have like 3 stages but since we had 9 already that would have been 27 total o too if everything else. I might update it at some point later after the jam to address those. Also add a loose state if you have no money and no more plants.

took me a while to understand but still cool! can you play my game?
