You could add an timer to delete the bullets, because when spamming you can easy clear all the enemies. But it's an good and enjoyable game!

It's simple but fun. Over time, this idea can be expanded into other, more well-developed stages

Some things that could be improved:

  • The dash, instead of following the mouse, could go in the direction the player is moving. Or click the mouse instead of space bar
  • The bullets could be destroyed when they hit the wall; otherwise, it becomes too overpowered

Overall not bad, I got my final fantasy fanfare at the end :)

Some thoughts:

  • The timing on damage from the piranha plants was a little off
  • Spamming bullet attack was ridiculously strong, perhaps the bullets could despawn after a short time. I was able to quickly clear the maze by just spamming at the start, so some balance is needed here.
  • The dash going towards the mouse instead of the movement direction wasn't intuitive, since that wasn't listed on the tutorial controls, but I figured it out.

Great job!
