Felt kinda like adding another dimension to tetris! I had a really tough time with the controls. I just couldn't get the plate to move in the way I wanted. It's like when a touchpad doesn't scroll in the direction that is intuitive to you or something. At some point my tower got too high and the game stopped dropping blocks. I assume it meant that I lost but it didn't tell me so. :)

Hi! Thanks for taking a look! Someday I will find the perfect isometric control mapping. Until then, we must all suffer! ; - ) Right now, the reason it stops when you get to a height of 10 is leftover from testing. Unfortunately, the scoring/level clear detection code broke when I did my last push and I can't fix for the contest.

I love the polish that went into this - it was a good idea to get music and sounds in there. They add a lot. Having the plate move in the same direction as the arrow I press kind of broke my brain, because pressing left causes the falling block to arrive on the space to the right. I’m not sure if there’s an objective here, but I enjoyed watching the bricks fall.

Hi! Glad you enjoyed it. Controls: well, that's part of the gameplay, right? ; - ) Objective: If you manage to fill the plate (or layer if higher), you should see the filled layer disappear with a cool particle effect (so, like a certain other sort of block falling game). However, this wasn't fully tested, so you can try it out for fun with the "b" key ("blow away" layer).
