Tried it out. I did like it. It was definitely very familiar to don't starve. It ran pretty smooth too. Only thing I had to question was how did it tie into the theme? And for personal negative, when doing actions, it was sometimes hard to tell if I did anything. When chopping trees there was nice feedback visually, like the tree swaying and the little word exclamations popping up. But when fighting enemies sometimes it was difficult if I did anything to them. But I really did enjoy the art style, and I could see a game created further from this. Nice work!

Thank you for your kind comment and your feedback. I really appreciated it (especially since there will maybe be a "polish" version out someday).

To answer your question relative to the theme, "don't let it out", it was the concept of the "corruption". Something is poisoning the land, and spreading. And when this "entity" reach full growth, you have to kill it before it go out and poison the world. Yes, it was a little far stretch but it's mainly because some content that made that clear (a better view of the concept of corruption of the land, the fact that the end-boss was not supposed to go toward the player but instead trying to leave the farm to go poison the world) was cut at the end of the jam and the cohesion of the game greatly suffered from it.
