  • Excellent Game. I love this concept of base defense. Very Fun, Great Design. Nailed the "power of one" theme! So much awesomeness here.
  • Pretty fun game to play. Had me playing multiple times before I felt it got too hard for me to keep trying. I didn't hear any music or sound so ranked that 1 star. The reason for the higher technical implementation is that everything fits together and I didn't get crashes or oddities generally. While the graphics/animation weren't necessarily "better" than some other entries, I like that they were created for this game and they fit together overall. The graphics weren't obtrusive to the goal of navigating and shooting other droids. The theme was a bit on the nose, but there were plenty of droids!

Did you create a new type of droid for your game or did you use an existing droid?
Used an existing droid (T7 Astromech), but I did slightly alter his design. I also used the B1 Battle Droids, Super Battle Droids, and Droideka as enemies.

What tools did you use to make this game? Please list all software used.
Unity (Game Engine), Microsoft Visual Studio (C# programming), Aseprite (Artwork).

Is this your first game? Game jam? Did you learn anything new? Tell us about your time making this project.
This is not my first game jam. I had some code from other (discarded) games that I thought I could use. While they did serve as a good base, I don't think I really saved that much time in the end.

How many womp rats did you shoot during the making if this game?
I wasn't keeping count, but more than a few, mostly out of frustration, a few because I lost focus. Let me just... *rolls die* ... Yeah, 12 seems like an accurate enough number.

At first I didn't get what to do but I quickly figured it out and when I did it was a very enjoyable game! The biggest issue I found was with the balancing. I felt I didn't get enough scrap to repair myself between waves.

Nice work. The droid is adorable.
