Hello, I am going to disqualify this game from GDKO 2025 as it was made prior to the jam starting. 

the task was to create a core mechanic and a secondary mechanic that can be used for progression. If you made a game with more then 2 mechanics I'm not sure how this will be rated. The judging questions are on the itch page and this is what people will be raring your game against. Good luck.

Did you make this game for GDKO round 1?  It looks as though it was made prior which would mean you can't enter it. If you didn't make this specifically for round 1 please can you remove it.

This entry will unfortunately be removed from GDKO as it was clearly made prior to the jam and has nothing to do with the round 1 task. 

people are allowed to play test your game. If you arent yet part of the discord, join. There are plenty of people there who will play test and give feedback.

Take a look at the 5 judging criteria questions. This will help you. You need a secondary mechanic as this relates to a question in judging. You wont be marked down if you add more but it wont necessarily help you score higher.

Please stop spaming your games into game jams. Its very frustrating for the people who host them.

you don't need to implement leaderboards. It was just something that took off last year. The winning game in the final did not have a leaderboard. Hope this helps. 

GDKO is a solo jam. No teams are allowed. Please dont post asking to join a team.

You won't know what you are making until GDKO starts so as long as you start and submit during the window you'll be ok.

you'll be fine. Round 1 won't be that tough. 8 days will be loads of time.

GDKO always starts on 1st but 14 days should be more than enough time to get something made. 

If you make a devlog about your entry and are happy for me to include footage from it in the end of round videos leave a link below. No guarantee I will use anything as it depends on quality, topic and if it fits with the content. 

There is always next year if you don't make it.
