i think this would've functioned as a better demo with a little more combat rather than npcs; most of them just tell me they'll do something later in a game that isn't finished yet, anyway.  i only got to see the core loop after talking to everyone

which is a shame because i'd like to see where it's going!  you have a solid spread of platformer movement here and i wish i could play with it somewhere other than a flat plain.  gimme a couple jumps to make and walls to slide down; you put in the effort to make this stuff work, might as well let me try it out  :)

Playing v001a on the Windows version it didn't start properly. I hit start and can talk to Luu Luu, but neither the characters nor the background drew to screen. The menus and inventory were fine, and Unity didn't give an error log.

I like the direction things are going in, the art and animations are nice, and the foundations for some great world building are there.

I like the art style a lot. I think you've got yourself a pretty solid action platformer engine. The NPC's, as simple as their behavior is at the moment, have a lot of character to them. I'd like to see them interact with each other when you return back from adventuring.

Thanks I plan to have more npcs and interactions soon. The next update is going to fix a few issues I caught after setting the build up.  I appreciate the feedback.

I'm not sure if I missed anything, I managed to wander around the shop a bit and then fight some enemies. I like the sprite art, though.

Also, the background parallax is a bit intense, you might want to dial it down a bit.

Hey thanks for the feedback, going to  be adding more to it such as NPCs quest mobs and the like in the following updates.
