Some assets already made, requesting moderation before the start

So, I have a problem. Specifically, that while I haven't coded a thing beforehand, the planned idea was to make a touching/hypnotraining game I'd already mocked up. Which means I already have a sliced sprite (although said sprites are currently not animated, nor are any other slice options for them done), several buttons, and a nine-slice for a dialogue box already done.

As such, I'm asking if this is a problem, so I can change plans beforehand to something I haven't got any assets for yet.

From the rules:

Ideally, games should be new, but if you really want to dust off something you once started, that’s okay — just let us know where you were starting from. (There’s a field when you submit a game.) Just, you know, use your judgment. Don’t take something that was 95% done and polish it up for this jam.

So I guess just let everyone know what you’re starting from and whats new and you should be okay? Sounds like you’ve at least still got animation work to do on your assets that you can do in Febuary as well as actual development.

Yeah, the 95% done thing definitely isn't true, so I thought it was polite to ask just in case.

yeah the main thrust is just, bearing in mind that there are ratings and most of us will be scrambling to finish on time: be fair.   it sounds like what you have is closer to the result of a brainstorming session than to a whole game, so that's fine
