Hi everyone. I saw this jam and loved it + had been looking for a project to work on. It was also kinda a perfect storm because i was watching the (Gross, beautiful, unforgivable, amazing) Bachelor / bachelorette series lately and the idea popped into my head as I was going for a walk.

I'm a JavaScript lover so I've been using Phaser to develop it - it's okay, but I don't think I would use it again. Using the api documentation is awkward, and I don't really have a good mental model of what is really going on because the documentation is all over the place and instead of an explanation of the concepts the library is build around, you're intended to learn mainly from examples. my game will end up being really hacked-together -- especially if I end up trying to make it mobile-friendly.

I don't have too much more to say about it, because its still in the initial phases right now, but I figured I would make a little devlog thread for it here. There's a github if you want to see the messy code / try it out (although its not much right now.)

heres the initial GIF i made for screenshot saturday showcasing dragging and dropping items to place in the suite, as well as the scrollable inventory area. I'm a bit further along now, although I want to wait until there is an actual game starting to form before I post any more GIFs.

Very excited because I also watch the horrifying/facinating/torture-simulator Bachelor series and anything that is referencing that will be awesome :D Good luckkkkkk <3
