This was an interesting one. The polish and juice is there, but in some ways it feels like it's all juice and very little content. From a visual standpoint it's gorgeous, but the audio felt very grating and I had to mute it. Even though it doesn't really fit the theme, I like the concept of a fruit ninja clone, but the gameplay ended up being mouse jiggle simulator more than anything.
Original thing I built the game around was enemies being fired from cannons from off screen. That got a bit lost after polishing the game a bunch though (you can still kind of hear the sfx). Also interpreted in the explosions in the game making the score go. Didnt want to just make it something moving due to explosions since I figured everyone would do that

This is a great game that is a simple concept polished up with tons of juice to make a really entertaining little game.
While I don't really see how this fits the Jam theme (Assume it was made for the Pirate Software Jam), this is still an amazing entry.
In classic Ategon fashion, you took a simple concept and polished it to perfection. Thank you so much for submitting, had a great time playing.
