Describe your submission
A spin-off of my original Cthonaut game, this GMless group game is about working together to escape a pocket of strange alternate reality before the things that exist in the labyrinth find you first. This game is loosely based on the Breathless system by Fari RPGs with some elements of Guided by Firelights thrown in. The game is best played with 3-5 players and should take about an hour or two to finish.

Being a board game fan this feels like a cool co-op board game! It’s very well done and it got me excited at the idea of playing it.

I don’t necessarily see much room for roleplaying. Do players describe their actions or reveal cards and describe what is revealed? Or is there some way to help give a narrative a little more to what they’re doing. Or is it meant to be played more like a board game? If so, that’s not a negative at all. I think this is extremely well done and very exciting!

I tried to leave as much room for description as possible on the players’ end, the space and monster are meant to be collaboratively described and created as the game progresses. I’ll look into making that more clear, I’m glad you like the game!!

I love cthulunaut and this group spin off looks like it's just as fun! I like the firelights element that has been thrown in to create the map. I would clarify if a GM is needed or not, I was confused if the GM was playing as the monster or if it was GM-less much like we see in a solo game.

It’s GMless, but I’ll make that more clear. Thank you for taking a look! I’m glad you enjoyed it!
