I love cryptids and I love this! Very fun idea and seems like it’d be fun to play. I like that you decide your skills as you go and assign the dice strength as you go. There are examples of them kind of given in there and with the pre made cryptids, but I wouldn’t mind a small list of example ones and what they could possibly be used for.

The one thing that confused me the most was the d4 and d6 vs the d8, d10, and d12. It talked about assigning d4 for things you’re not naturally good at and d6 to things you're naturally good at, but it talked about the d8-12 as the 3 skills. Are the d4-6 for just general actions? But in the examples for the cryptids it was written like the Skills. Maybe I misread though. I read that section a couple of times because of that so possible clarification may need to be written.

I feel like the theme and setting are really fun though! The Starvation & Exposure are also really cool! Well done!

This sounds like an easy way to have a great time! Trying not to be outed as a cryptid is such a fun idea, but balancing it with needing to risk exposure to eat can definitely create some fun stakes, and I can see this game getting really goofy really fast!
