As much as I know this game will win since it is the only once, I sadly refuse to give it higher than 2 stars overall.

The graphics, I gotta be honest. I wasn't expecting full HD rendered 3D amazing graphics or even 2D awesome graphics, since this is a game jam. While I consider the main character's design goofy and funny, I couldn't find the rest of the game as quite "graphic". The objects are just lines and squares, and the menu screen seemed kinda odd. I actually took a whole minute to figure out that there were levels in the game (maybe it's my bad but idk).

Also, I couldn't figure out how to solve the first level. The lack of instructions are what makes this game kinda unfunny to me. From what I understood, I gotta get one of the squares to the end of the level. I tried getting the first square to the second one's place but after that, I could get neither of the squares to the end of the level, which, to be honest, doesn't seem at all like a switch but standing on it doesn't seem to do nothing. While maybe I ran into the glitched save bug, As there is no indication of what to do, even if I didn't ran into the bug, I wouldn't know what to do.

Then we got the audio. I don't think you should stress yourself out making a wonderful main theme, but no background music is something I don't personally like. However, the few sound effects I found are actually nice, so I'm kinda ok with that.

That being said, as I could not get past the first level, I can't get a full idea of the game, but from what I could see, there is no inventory or anything that can help you lift items. Of course, you have to push items against anothers (or maybe that's what I think you have to do cuz, again, no instructions), but I don't think that counts as "having" something. And as I did not get to the end of the game, I couldn't get the whole story. I suppose the "You are the monster" is a plot twist at the end, but as I did not get there, I won't be sure if it's well developed.

On the bright side, I appreciate that the mechanics are quite interesting. I won't say they are the most original thing in the world, but it works. Placing boxes on switches and having different switches do different things is actually quite fun and I would like to see more of it.

So, this are my recommendations for next games you want to make in general:

- Have background music, even if it's not the best one.

- Make clear instructions for the player in-game. Controls aren't enough, set a goal either on the description or in-game and how to achieve it.

- A non-animated menu image with more than one object on it is more appealing that an animated one with a single one and a grey bg.

- If you add something, you should make it exagerately obvious of how it works so even dumbasses like me can get through the levels.

That's all. Want to see more of you. The project isn't a bad idea, it's just.... it could be better executed.

Thanks for playing but you missed the whole game.

It is supposed to be a puzzle platformer so don't expect to rush through. I Kan give you a walk through if you need help.

The main menu, while plain and uninteresting, has only 3 things clearly visible. One of them is the level select. I think that one is on you.

But the graphics and music are definitely on me.

Thanks for understanding. Yeah, I missed the whole game. While I recognise that the main screen only has 3 items, I couldn't see a text that said "Level Select", just a panel of numbers next to a weird thing that was moving. That made me think that I had to control THAT thing and the buttons were there to help. Maybe I should've supposed they were buttons to select a level, but idk I'm sometimes kinda dumb. I was eventually going to click "1" anyways but just a small "Level Select" would also help. I however recognise I should've try them sooner.

Edit: Ok so I tried it again and found out how to solve the first level with the cable system. I actually think I should've know that better. It's my bad. I'm currently on the 3rd game and figured out how to complete it and I'm trying the key-combinations to see if they work after the delay.

That being said, if something I said in this comment or the previous one has personally offended you, I apologize and want to make clear that I only said the things I did because I had some problems with your GAME, not with you, and I actually liked the dynamic of the game and realized I was doing something wrong. I'm updating my rating according to what I can see now.

Why would I be offended? You said what you thought about my game. I can't get offended by that.

Walkthrough:
Level 1:
Push the small box on the button to get to room 2,
Get the big box to the first button,
Take the small box on the second button,
use the respawned big box to reach the goal on the top right
Level 2:
Stand on the button until the box is also on the button,
Get to the goal
Level 3:
Jump to the top right with input lag
Level 4:
Use the box to your right to get the box on the left,
Use the box from the left on the rightmost button to unlock the door to the goal,
Use the respawned first box to unlock the goal with the middle button
Level 5:
Jump over the blue capsule (those decrease your input delay),
collect the red capsule (these increase your input delay),
You can walk through the energy walls if you have the input lag they have written on them,
Now go right, then left, walk forward until you go through a 4 wall,
Then collect the red capsule and drop down the 5 wall,
go right until you find the goal.
Level 6:
Push the box into the fan to open the door,
Push at least one of the 3 boxes out of the fans,
Use that box to reach the goal on the top right.

I hope that helps.

It sure does help. Thanks :D

Also yeah, that comment was just because I always like to make clear I'm trying to be objective and it's nothing personal. I say it in general, when I'm reviewing games to avoid discussions. Most of the devs here are nice anyways but "just in case" I say that because sometimes I get on heat and I live in a house where I've heard everything so sometimes idk if I'm saying something that can hurt others, so I just apologize at the end of my reviews posts to make clear that it wasn't intentional.

Anyways, Imma try now to complete the game with the help providen. I actually got stuck in level 3 because of the input lag. It makes an element of raging in the game but I'll try to complete it anyways in order to update the rating, for now however, I actually like the style of gameplay. Great work! Maybe level 3 just caught me offguard because I wasn't used to this but I think with enough patience and "Kill the Dummy" runs, I think I may get to the end of the game.
