Absolutely loved the descriptions, puzzles and graphics. A really well made, fun game :)

Fun game, I think the story fits the jam theme perfectly. The thirst mechanic is on a timer? I got redirected to the fountain one time only, and with a small well connected map like this it probably won't make a difference but it could be used more, or come into effect during a puzzle?

That said, a well done little game.

The thirst mechanic is programmed to only happen the one time, but I'm glad there was the illusion is was more random or sophisticated =) Thanks for playing and your comment.

Nice beach theme that made me long for summer!

I found the way auto-redescribe works in this game to be a bit confusing - when you get or drop things, it clears all previous responses but doesn't immediately update the room's object list.  This led to a few panicky moments when I wondered where my stick had gone.

I really liked the music with all the pretty ambient sounds, and the graphics were so cute - especially when you've solved the problem for the teens and they look happy again!

Thanks for playing and your comment. There are a few little things like that, about the auto redescribe, that I'll have to iron out after the jam ends. I'm glad you enjoyed the music, I think it turned out pretty nice =) And I am glad you noticed the graphic switch for the teens playing! There is also a more subtle change after resolving the rocky bank area.

A small detail: when there is only one frog left, it still displays a choice menu:

Which frog would you like to catch?
 1. smooth frog
?

Thanks for playing and for your feedback. I'm glad you were able to win and that you found the game easy. The frogs part could have been refined somewhat. It was already the most complex part of the code and I decided to focus on other parts before the jam deadline. But I'll keep that in mind for future.

Completed. Another nice and easy game.
Sometimes, after displaying a response to an action, there is a wait for a key to be pressed which is not useful since the screen is not refreshed.
